“ Good Ethiopian food is a truly sublime experience, and this place has some of the best I've had. It's very small, but the room is nice, if not fancy. The service was impeccable, and the food is incredible. We had a range of dishes from kitfo to lamb awaze tubs and a variety of vegetable dishes. All of it was amazing. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, I can't say enough good things about this place. We'll be back for sure next time we're in Philadelphia. ”
“ Simple, delicious Ethiopian food in solid portions. Service was great and it wasn’t expensive. Also the tea was amazing, 10/10. ”
“ I’ve been to three establishments in Philly and this is the best one so far. 10/10 for veggie options! ”
“ We’ve tried all the Ethiopian food in this area and this is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is sooooo good. Service is a little slow but every time we’ve been there it’s only 1 guy working and he’s working hard. We don’t mind the wait at all, we usually bring some cards or something to keep us occupied the restaurant is very clean. its BYOB so bring your drink of choice! I really love this place. I hope you try it. ”
“ It was fun to try something new tonight with my daughter. We got Qey Wot lamb and Kitfo ground beef, with a size of meat Sambusa. It was all so delicious and a medium spiciness. I think we enjoyed the lamb a little better than the beef. The service was very friendly. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but fine during the day. Overall very good experience. ”
“ We started off with Veggie Sambusa, which was very fresh and crisp. We got the meat combo and it came with 3 veggie sides, which was plenty of food for both of us. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. ”
“ We had Doro Qey Wot (chicken), Shiro Wot, Regular Veggie Combo and Veggie Sambusa. We loved all the courses! Each one of these were super flavourful, but my favorite was Doro Qey Wot. The spice level was perfect! Highly recommended! ”
“ Door dash order. They provided a large portion size. The veggie combo reminded me of my Ethiopian friend mother’s home cooked meals. The Injera is so so so perfect. Someone left a review saying this restaurant food lack in flavor, that is NOT true. The veggie combo was lightly seasoned, I high recommend it for hypertensive patients. However the meat combo was the total opposite, it had lots a flavor, a little on the too salty side for me personally. So my solution was to eat the veggies and meat together to balance things out. Overall I am satisfied with receiving authentic Ethiopian food tonight. ”
